What is polymer clay? - Polymer clay is a synthetic material modeling clay made from a plastic polymer base called polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Before polymer clay is cured, it’s a highly malleable plastic that can be shaped and reshaped numerous times without deteriorating. It is considered a thermosetting material which mean it's structure changes permanently during baking. Polymer clay is its impressive strength and durability. When baked correctly, the material won't shatter or weaken over time.

What is the difference between polymer clay and regular clay? -Polymer clay is a plastic-based, oven-bake, and durable material ideal for jewelry and detailed, colorful miniatures. While traditional air-dry clay(or natural clay) is earth-based, dries naturally in 24–72 hours, is more fragile, and often requires painting. Polymer clay is more expensive, does not dry out while working, and is waterproof, unlike air-dry clay.

Are they handmade? - Yes, each earring is designed by me and carefully handcrafted. Please keep in mind that there may be slight variations in color, shape, marble design, placement of gold leaf, and textures. Each and one of them are uniquely made for you!

 

Are polymer clay earrings heavy? - No. They are very light. Polymer clay earrings are not typically heavy, but there can be some variation depending on the design. For example, the size and the thickness. Some polymer clay earrings may be heavier than others due to the use of metallic ornaments or other materials.
